About Me

I’ve always written. Articles, essays, poems, to-do lists, even (bad) song lyrics. I wrote my first novel in 1996 and then followed up with humorous articles for the local newspaper, the Centre Daily Times . In 2012, my Christian romance Something To Talk About placed in the Highly Commended category of the Rose and Crown New Novel contest. In 2015, I won the Editor’s Choice Award in the Realm Makers Short Story Contest for my story “The Escort.”  My first speculative novel, Spark, was published May 2017, and book two, titled Flare, is in the works.

A member of ACFW, I spend my free time writing stories, consuming massive quantities of chocolate, and looking for portals to other worlds.
